Statistics New Zealand is New Zealand's national statistical office. It administers the Statistics Act 1975, and is the country's major source of official statistics.
The Cultural Statistics Programme is a partnership between the Ministry for Culture and Heritage and Statistics New Zealand and was established to improve the range and quality of information available about New Zealand's cultural sector.

Currently not all the indicators have been populated, due to lack of data in some areas. This will be rectified over time as data becomes available.
