It is also useful for those who want to find out basic information about iwi, hapū and marae; and the role of certain other national and urban Māori organisations.
The directory can be browsed by local authority.
Maori Land Information

The Māori Land Information Base (MLIB) has been developed by the Ministry of Māori Development. It contains Māori Land Court information about Māori freehold land, which the Māori Land Court in consultation with Māori has approved for release on the Internet.
