Transpower supports cultural well-being in New Zealand communities through its CommunityCare Fund, partnerships and a staff volunteering programme.

These trusts and fellowships are managed by the Department of Internal Affairs Local Government and Community branch

Trusts and fellowships include

These awards recognise the efforts of community groups, as distinct from our annual Citizens Awards which recognise individuals.

Trust Waikato's purpose is to help organisations carry out charitable, cultural, philanthropic and recreational projects of benefit to people in the Waikato.

TrustPower, in partnership with the Ashburton District Council, wishes to recognise groups and organisations in the Ashburton District, that dedicate hours of voluntary time and energy every year in making the community a better place to live.

In 2007 Upper Hutt City Council surveyed youth in the city. The results identified issues and concerns for youth in Upper Hutt. This follows on from a similar survey that was conducted in 2006. This report contains the results and discussion of the 2007 survey.

The SHAW model involves facilitating regular community forums on topics of focus to identify and address areas of need within the community.

The Community Outcomes describe the type of community that residents would like to have in Upper Hutt over the next 10 to 20 years.

This report is prepared in response to Section 92 of the Local Government Act 2002, which requires a local authority to monitor and, not less than once every 3 years, report on the progress made by the community in achieving the community outcomes for the district. The measures in this report were identified in upperhuttcity@2016.
