Waihi Beach – Defining our Future is the 20-year Plan for the future of the Waihi Beach ward. Adopted in August 2007, this Plan is the result of many months of work undertaken by the Community. The Plan was built on input from residents and ratepayers on a range of issues; including land use, the area’s economy, natural environment, recreation, community facilities and culture.

This strategy reflects Council's desire to work with the community to identify community development priorities now and into the future and reflects the continuing growth and diversity of the Waimakariri community.
